Share Your Love for Computer Science!

The Santa Cruz County Office of Education is excited to invite you to be a part of their upcoming Computer Science Education Week 2023, where they'll be hosting two engaging events known as Computer Science Community Nights or CS Playgrounds. These events aim to celebrate the world of computer science with our community and provide invaluable hands-on experiences to youth. However, they need your support to make them a success!

We invite you to contribute your time and expertise as a volunteer to make these events unforgettable. Please express your interest and availability by completing the following form.

What Are Computer Science Community Nights?

These are free, family-friendly gatherings where our community can come together to celebrate Computer Science Education Week. Participants will engage in interactive computer science activities led by our staff and volunteers. These activities are designed to cater to a wide range of ages and grade levels, from TK to 12th grade. We'll provide a handy "activity map" to help families choose activities suitable for them.

Attendees will include individuals of all ages, including students and their families, along with other community members who are curious about computer science.
